This ad plays on the much disliked practices of the Thai police.

| Brief | An amusing spot from Thailand. Verena's Sure is a dietary supplement that helps weight control by “blocking” fat. The idea is brought to life through this story of a nit-picking highway patrol cop: a familiar figure and a running joke to Thais. Two men are flagged down by the cop because they are apparently transporting fat. It soon transpires that they’re inside local celebrity Woonsen, who has taken Sure. The men are confused but eventually one of them asks: “Is this an ad?” The cop nods. Mystery solved. Verena's Sure is a food supplement that "captures" fat. In this amusing metaphor, motorists find themselves flagged down by a strict traffic cop; a familiar figure and a running joke among Thais. When they are deemed too "fatty" and banned from going any further, the travellers finally realise that they're trapped in the body of glamorous Thai celebrity Woonsen, who has just taken some Sure. |
