| Trama | Max and Bill forge a cross-generational friendship as they bond over a regular checkers game in the park, during which they share anecdotes and Extra gum. One day Bill is missing from their spot and Max learns his friend has been taken ill. But when he rushes over to hospital, he is relieved to find that Bill is on the mend. Max returns Bill's checkers, which he's been keeping safe in an Extra gum box. Sometimes the smallest gestures can be the most refreshing. |
