In a market of homogenous insurance companies, BSC sets itself apart as a not-for-profit that has always campaigned for equality and diversity – and now reflects this for the first time in its advertising efforts after the brand officially rolled out its values earlier this year: Human, honest and courageous. These values inspired the “More Than a Color” campaign, featuring a moving :60/:30 TV spot alongside candid BTS short films, which tackle head on issues such as support for LGBTQ rights, teen vaping, the need for emotional resiliency and rebuilding communities devastated by tragedy. The individuals featured are all real people with real stories, not actors, including the film’s director, who was chosen for the real personal passion he brought to the project.
