Filosofia After LePub rolled out its creative ideation for the global campaign for premium beer brand Heineken's® 150th anniversary, having tapped Boomerang, part of Publicis Groupe for support on digital communications, Boomerang is back again to propel the creative forward. This time with a digital activation. The campaign leans into how around the world, the brand is often mispronounced, misspelled or even served in ways that aren’t quite as originally intended.
To celebrate this international affection and local loyalty to the brand, Heineken is not correcting or avoiding these adaptations. Instead, it is embracing them by shining a light on the fact that it’s not about how one says or spells ‘Heineken®’ – it’s about enjoyment and having a good time, one way or another, together.
The campaign is Heineken's® most extensive global campaign to-date, seamlessly combining the overarching narrative with insights from how different markets within the 68 planned for the campaign, enjoy the beer brand around the world.
