Trama For the second year, Unilever, in partnership with creative agency RanaVerse, has launched its United We Stand UK campaign, a collaboration with Superdrug stores and the Switchboard LGBTQ+ helpline, dedicated to supporting queer people in the UK. The work is also in its fifth year in the US. In addition to a new Pride collection of products now available in Superdrug stores from Unilever brands like Simple, Vaseline and Lynx, the campaign features a new film series spearheaded by RanaVerse, which aims to raise awareness of Switchboard’s services while highlighting unique stories from within Britain’s LGBTQ+ community. A film that highlights lived queer experience in Britain Teaming again with award-winning filmmaker Jess Kohl, Unilever and RanaVerse have developed an intimate campaign film that catches up with LGBTQ+ people from four real-life stories the campaign highlighted last year. In interwoven vignettes shot on 16mm film, the clip reunites Aamir and Amir, the first gay South Asian couple to be married in Bradford; AJ and Kai, two young trans men in Liverpool; Martina, who transitioned later in life and lives in rural Yorkshire; and Millie, a young lesbian living in London.
