Brief | During the corona pandemic no crowds were allowed in football stadiums. We filled one stadium of professional football club SC Heerenveen (Dutch Premier League) with 15.000 teddy bears wearing the clubs’ jersey. Each bear could be bought by fans. Within 24 hours the stadium was sold out. 15.000 Teddy bears raised 230.000 euro. And in the following 24 hours another 4.000 teddy bears were ordered raising in total an amount of €313.649,-. The free publicity was massive. From all national sport programs to international media like CNN. |
