The content was both pertinent and useful to the target audience, bringing together environmental conservation and football. The campaign’s target audience were football fans and sports commentators. The product was a new game-jersey for Flamengo, the team with largest fan-base in the world. Adidas is one of Brazil’s most popular sporting goods brands. Adidas was able to mobilise the world’s largest fan-base in support of a noble cause: Environmental conservation. The jersey achieved some of the highest sales of all team jerseys sold by Adidas for that year. |
