Omnicom Precision Marketing Group (OPMG) has hired Nelson Freitas as Global Chief Strategy Officer, based in their New York headquarters.
Reporting to Luke Taylor, CEO of OPMG, Freitas will be responsible for evaluating and championing the best strategic practices across the OPMG agencies including RAPP, Organic, Javelin, Targetbase and Proximity. Working in close partnership with Jatinder Singh, Global Chief Marketing Sciences Officer, his remit will also include partnering with agency strategic leads to drive innovation and create new, scalable intellectual property to be leveraged across all OPMG brands.

Previously serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Wunderman North America, Freitas was responsible for creating award-winning strategy capabilities, including scalable tools, processes and resources that fostered network-wide collaboration and cohesion. Freitas’ experience also spans Ogilvy and TBWA, where he was Group Planning Director, as well as running his own strategic consultancy business, Clear Skies Ahead.
