| Brief | A father gives his son a torch as a gift. Later, we see the boy in hospital. He gets up at night and begins signalling with the torch using Morse code. Staying nearby, the father sees the flashes. He decodes the question: “Are you there dad?” He flashes a reply: “I am always here buddy.” The boy asks: “When are you going to bed?” Dad signals: “Not until you fall asleep.” Ronald McDonald House is a temporary home for families of seriously ill children who have a special need to be close. |
