Brief | A taxi glides through the city streets. The driver is thinking – and his thoughts aren’t pleasant. “Faggots: is there anything they won’t do to get noticed?” he asks. “And our late night Muslims with their shops on every street corner of the city…Everything has changed, now that all the immigrants are here.” But then the film rewinds and key words are replaced: “faggots” with “boys”, “Muslims” with “grocers” and “immigrants” with “families”. A single word can change negative perceptions into unprejudiced ones. Don’t label. |

We can help people form their own opinions instead of being influenced by the political agendas of others. Don't Label is the new campaign from the danish NGO Fair Welcome. The campaign comes with a browser plug-in that actively removes prejudiced words from the internet and replace them with neutral words.
