Leeds Arts University is excited to announce Next Gen, our 2023 exhibition showcasing the work of our talented postgraduate students.
The exhibition features a breadth of creative talent from a growing portfolio of postgraduate study at Leeds Arts University, which now includes MA Animation, MA Creative Practice, MA Digital Fashion, MA Fine Art, MA Graphic Design, MA Illustration with Graphic Novel, MA Photography, MA Worldbuilding with Creature Design.
During the private view the winner of the Anthony Earnshaw Prize will be announced. The bursary, awarded annually to postgraduate students at Leeds Arts University, was set up by artist Patrick Hughes in memory of his friend, the surrealist artist and fellow alumni, Anthony Earnshaw.
Head of Postgraduate Studies, Dr Sarah Taylor said:
“We are delighted to promote the abundance of talent from students working across all postgraduate disciplines at Leeds Arts University.
Thanks to the generosity of artist and alumni Patrick Hughes we are pleased to be able to award a bursary to a student who has shown outstanding talent in their field, adding to the celebration of their success our students truly deserve. We hope that our guests enjoy the range of work exhibited here as much as we as staff have and will join us in congratulating our next generation of talented creatives.”
Next Gen Postgraduate show runs from 18 – 23 September. Opening times are Monday 4 – 7pm and Saturday 10- 4pm at our Blenheim Walk site.
