57 Awards to date, Dentsu Webchutney's work for VICE World News took the coveted Titanium Lion at Cannes. The film hacks into exhibits at the British Museum using Instagram filters, to uncover where the artifacts were stolen from. Bravo!

Black-owned Friday originally ran last year, put together by BBH New York for Google and in partnership with artist Wyclef Jean. Black-owned businesses were adversely affected by the pandemic. To activate support, Google and Wyclef transformed Black Friday to Black-owned Friday last year on the day after Thanksgiving. Took two golds and a silver at Cannes.

Our +1 this month is a PHNX Awards gold winner in the Creative Technology category. This work from Innocean Worldwide for the Anne Frank House, brings Anne's story into a modern context. An important campaign using technology to educate on the continuing societal issue of discrimination.

| Brief | We turned Anne Frank's iconic bookcase into an AR app. After rotating it, users could step inside her room and the rooms of four young people facing discrimination today - becoming familiar with their stories by examining personal objects and the meaning behind them. Each room was carefully scanned using photogrammetry to create 3D-rendered, true-to-life models, allowing users to explore their experiencies in strikingly realistic fashion.The app quickly became a central piece for discussion in Dutch society, a subject for debate in classrooms across Europe and a permanent educational platform at the Anne Frank House – helping fight discrimination through education. |
