Trama | To launch Nike’s new PhantomVSN football boot, we unleashed upon the world a mysterious character called THE PHANTOM - a demonic football freak capable of wreaking havoc on all those who cross its path. And the stuff of urban legend.First, we started with a teaser campaign that spread dark and mysterious rumours among footballers everywhere, leaving them wondering WHO or WHAT the PHANTOM was…Then, we launched this film AWAKEN THE PHANTOM for everyone to find out.Directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman, Kick-Ass, Layer Cake), the two-and-a-half-minute film features famous footballers Neymar, Philippe Coutinho, Kevin De Bruyne and Mal Pugh as well as football icons Ronaldinho, Gennaro Gattuso and Andrea Pirlo. Nigerian rap star WizKid and his posse Legendury Beatz, and Tiwa Savage also make a cameo.All to the beat of a mashup between Genesis and Heavy Metal by Justice. |
