Managing Director Global Partnerships & Events at Ebiquity PLC

Riassunto

Debbie joined Ebiquity in Jan 2019 as Managing Director Global Partnerships & Events across the group.
Having spent the previous 29 years of her career running consultancy services at ISBA, the UK advertisers association, working with clients on agency pitches, developing industry better practices, including driving greater transparency in client/media agency relationships with the development of the ISBA Media Services Framework. Debbie has a deep understanding of the communications industry, client structures and needs, the changing shape of the marketing industry and in particular key trends in advertising management and industry developments.
She has won three prestigious WFA President’s awards for industry leadership for her work at ISBA.
Debbie was attracted to the role at Ebiquity as she felt there were a great number of parallels between Ebiquity and ISBA, both independent, both impartial and both working hard to ensure advertisers maximise their investment in marketing activities. The biggest difference being the scale of the Ebiquity operation, being 650 people across 14 markets globally, all highly skilled, totally passionate, working with the brightest and best local and global clients and thinking all day every day about media. As a consequence Ebiquity sees the very big and real picture on key trends and issues often before they have surfaced in the market.
She now sits in the global corporate function at Ebiquity and is building strategy, activities and driving relationships with key global partnerships in particular with:
• The World Federation of Advertisers
• The ANA
• ISBA
• Other local advertiser associations across the 14 markets where Ebiquity trades

She works closely with Ebiquity’s Media Management practice who run over 100 media pitches globally. And Firmdecisions where her knowledge of agency contracts and agency relationships helps to enhance their compliance auditing offering. She also supports the Ebiquity Tech practice in their broad consulting role advising clients on in-housing digital media activities and the souring and smart activation of martech solutions.
She has developed relationships with the marketing procurement community and has set up in London an Ebiquity Media Management Procurement Forum to share key learning’s and trends identified through Ebiquity and Firmdecisions work. Ebiquity Procurement Forums are also being set up in France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Dubai, with plans to create more forums in the USA and beyond.
She is involved in the development and socialisation of Ebiquity thought leadership pieces and new position papers, e.g. TV at The Tipping Point, End ot End Influencer Marketing, Ebiquity Media Model, Advanced TV - questions brands should ask agencies, Virtual Pitching Guidance. And has organised round tables, breakfast events, webinars and dinners to brief clients and discuss the concepts and consequences of some of these key trends.

She is also responsible for sponsorships with media partners driving Ebiquity’s presence at key events like Procurecon, Mediatel - Future of Brands, Festival of Media, ANA Media & Ad Financial Management conference and the WFA’s Global market Week.
Debbie writes a regular monthly column for The Drum delivering innovative thought leadership positions on key market issues and sharing her unique perspective on the marketing community. She is highly active in the social space on Twitter, Linkedin and Instagram and speaks at conferences and events across the globe.
She mentors 3 tech start-ups Resooma which is challenging the student accommodation model, the founders of start-up The Personalised Protein Company. and the on-line cocktail making business www.beyondthebar.fun
She is a member of the elite communication industry women’s club WACL.
