Trama Right wing extremists are using social platforms to spread hatred. With its client “Loud Against Nazis”, the agency wanted to raise awareness of such abuse. So 100 influencers took a stand by sacrificing their most important currency: their followers. They asked followers with a right-wing extremist mindset to "unfollow" them by creating posts via unfollowme.org. In the end more than 40,000 posts were published with #unfollowme. Tens of thousands of people unfollowed and a debate about values in social media was sparked. Plus the influencers gained three times as many new followers.
