Trama As the gap between Britain’s expectations for the future and the provisions it’s making for it continues to widen, the need for help and guidance has never been greater. Scottish Widows and its ‘living icon’ is uniquely placed to fulfil that very role, enabling us to see the value of a plan today and not just in the distant future.
It’s this sentiment of ‘today’s benefits’ that acted as the springboard for the brand’s relaunch, under the banner ‘life feels better when you have a plan’. The peace of mind we enjoy when we’ve sorted out the future is a universal truth, and with it we’re free to enjoy all that life has to offer.
Launched in February 2014 with TV, press, outdoor, digital and a series of online short films, the campaign creative director was Simon Schmitt and shot by Leila and Damien de Blinkk at Wanda Productions/Webber Represents.
