Technic SL-1200

3/20 became Record’s Day after Panasonic’s Technics sold their first LP Record Player in 1951. In 1972, the SL-1200 from Technics was sold and this changed music for years to come. 1973, a birthday party held on a hot summer night was the setting for a historic day.

This master piece from Technics’s by creative Director Mr. Ryuta Kimura is an ensemble of 30 DJs celebrating the first LP ever sold, Mendelssohn’s Concernto in E minor by Nathan Milstein, and the come back of the SL-1200. A machine that became an instrument and then led on people to create a new genre that has influence the world for decades. We thank it all to Technics’ SL-1200. Hideoki Productions had the pleasure to work with Mr. Kimura recently on a related project.

1951年にパナソニックのTechnicsが最初のLPレコードプレーヤーを販売した後、3月20日はレコードの日になりました。1972年、TechnicsのSL−1200が販売され、音楽の歴史を変えました。1973年の熱い夏の夜とある誕生日パーティが歴史的な舞台となりました。

クリエイティブ・ディレクターの木村隆太さんによるTechnicsの作品は、SL−1200の再販売を祝って３０人のDJが初めて販売されたLPのNathan MilstenのMendelssohn Concerto in E minorを演奏したものです。 機会が何十年にもわって世界的に音楽に影響を与え、新しいジャンルを生み出す楽器となりました。今ある新しいジャンルの数々はTechnicsのSL-1200のおかげです。 Hideoki Productionsも優秀なクリエイティブ・ディレクターの木村さんと最近関連したプロジェクトで協力できたことを誇りに思っています。 Technics のSL-1200の再販売を祝うPhilharmonic Turntable Orchestraをご覧ください。
