Suzanne Kim

Husein has a striking visual approach that elevates his work into the realm of magical realism. With a strong grounding in drama and performance direction, he loves to construct cinematic narratives and take audiences on a journey 

Scott Otto Anderson

Scott's work ranges from art direction and set designs, to 3D visual effects as well as comedy performance direction. He is known for left-field in-camera and post solutions to creative challenges as well as an ability to get a great performance. 

Gary John is a talented Kiwi comedy director who gravitates towards performance and situational comedy, sometimes quirky but always with a strong focus on character. Gary’s quirky sensibility has made him a sought after director on campaigns for brands including Air New Zealand, Coca-Cola, Burger King, Sanitarium, Tiger Beer, Canon and Mother. 

Lance Kelleher

Deftly creating work that is epic in scope but intimate in detail, Lance prides himself on creating visually-stunning yet genuinely-human commercials and films. Given the level of his technical and VFX mastery and his unique ability to extract drama from almost any subject, it is pleasantly surprising to discover that Lance is approachable as they get an d a lovely guy to simply hang with. 

Andrew Lancaster

Andrew has a background in music videos and drama feature films, yet he also loves to work with real people as well as actors to find the stories and the cinematic authenticity to bring them to life. 

RBG6 are a Swedish directing duo renowned for their acclaimed design aesthetic internationally. Lars & Joel began as graphic designers prior to teaming up as the directing team RBG6. Their creative work always has a strong narrative thread with their aesthetic design at its core, along with a little playful quirkiness. 

Lucinda is an incredibly talented director and animator who specialises in stop-motion animation and illustration. Lucinda now mixes her art-directed animation with full-live action sets and actors, a mix which creates wonderful results. 

Jasmin Tarasin

The work of Jasmin Tarasin is inspired by finding the beauty in reality. Jasmin’s ability to find intimacy and honesty in her work has been an integral part of her success as a director. She works in the realm of documentary, film, advertising and video installation. Her honest and unaffected approach has brought attention to her work worldwide.

Her directorial debut was a four part television documentary series on the artistic process of fashion designers in Australia, entitled 'The Closet Tales of Australian Fashion'. The Age describes her work on the documentary “(as) a tapestry of beautiful imagery... and therein lies the appeal.”

She then went on to work internationally as a commercials and music video director working with clients that include Commonwealth Bank, Foxtel, Pantene, Woolworths and many more.
She also enjoyed making award winning music videos for artists including Peaches and Gareth Liddiard (The Drones).
Grey’s Worldwide Creative Director on the Pantene Project, Jeff Orr, commented on Jasmin’s particular ability to “combine... powerful visual storytelling with the complex demands of brand communications."

Jasmin launched a video art installation work that premiered as part of the Sydney Arts Festival entitled ‘Live’, which featured musical acts including Jarvis Cocker, Warren Ellis, Juliette Lewis, Martha and Rufus Wainwright and many more. As described in The Vine, "Live succeeds on every level to give an unbridled glimpse into the complex and intriguing art of self expression. This is a really fresh idea executed to perfection.”

She also directed a one hour documentary for ABC1 entitled 'Utopia Girls', which explored the history of women’s rights in Australia and featured performances by Barry Otto, David Fields, Alexandra Schepisi, Tom Budge and many more.
The Age describes the work as “brilliantly told in this thoughtful film … the use of actors in historical reenactment is most effective in conveying the extraordinary times in which these little known men and women revolutionized their society."

Jasmin is developing a feature film funded by Screen Australia based on the story of the most wanted woman in Australia in 1915, Jessie Hickman, a female bushranger. She is also working on a film piece with innovative dance company Chunky Move. 

Formerly one half of directing collective, Alphabetical Order, Daniel is a highly regarded director known for his striking visuals with a seamless blend of live action and photo-real 3D. Influenced by his background in photography, animation and design his work is defined by movement, one motion leading to the next. 

Dropbear (aka Jonathan Chong) is an award-winning Director and Animator from Melbourne, Australia. He is a film director with a background in music videos that specialises in visual narrative films and stunning stop-motion creations. Dropbear relishes the opportunity to create visual stories that stand out and as one reviewer coined, “jaw dropping worlds of visual delicacies.” There is a level of technical and artistic skill behind his craft as this is something Dropbear champions in every frame he creates.
