Besides directing commercials, Helli follows his passion for the outdoors and adventures. During the years with his team he produced several award winning documentaries about adventures and athletes’ portraits. He worked with clients like W.L. Gore, Mammut and Red Bull and is producing the European Outdoor Film Tour E.O.F.T. and also presenting the War- ren Miller Ski Film Tour and the Banff Mountain Filmtour in Europe.

David Tindale

David Tindale grew up in the Vancouver outdoors skateboarding and snowboarding. As competitive injuries took their toll he realized that professional snowboarding would not be his future. Design became the new creative outlet and a chance to stay connected to the sports and culture he loved.

Since then David has lived around the world working as a creative, brand and marketing lead on both the agency and client side where he launched a national retail chain, directed and shot a hundred or so ad campaigns, videos and catalogs.

Marketing trends come and go but storytelling creates true connection. Four years ago he focused his attention on the experiences he most enjoyed and began a career as full-time independent filmmaker. Since then he has directed, written and produced several award winning films and television productions while signing with commercial production companies in USA, Canada and Europe. David actively Directs commercials internationally while exploring his love for stories and subjects that resonate.

His extensive body of work for various clients includes Nike, Target, Burton Snowboards, Audi, Active 02, Airwaves, Mountain Dew, ESPN, Lululemon, American Eagle Outiftters, Puma and CBC.

KRONCK

KRONCK

KRONCK is transcendental hope & electrical seat heating at the same time. KRONCK thats also Jessica Benzing & Maximilian Gerlach, a directing team from the north of germany that never sat in the last row of the bus but was unusually strange dressed by their parents. Because of that and their common interest in film, art and potato printing, they joined dark forces and studied at the university of film and television Munich where they directed their first commercial for Sony Ericsson. They liked it and others did too, gave them awards, so they went on directing several commercials and music videos that won a gunnysack of prizes in germany and abroad. Since then, they are well known for their young and dynamic style, authentic casting, eye-catching visual language, a lot of weird stuff, luminous humor, great choreographies (Jessi is a little pro in dancing) and after set parties (Max is a little pro in finding great places and people to party with).

KRONCK has a very soft & squishy spot for almost everything thats youthful, lifestyle or sports orientated, music-driven or slightly absurd. If they are not on set, they spend most of their time planning their own island, sitting in cinema or wondering about people with normal jobs.

KRONCK speaks german and english fluently, some spanish, a bit of french and even some latin what helps a lot when it comes to time travel issues. If its not good, its not KRONCK.

Marten Persiel

Marten Persiel

Originally from Berlin, Marten Persiel studied Film and Screenplay at the HfBK Hamburg, at Portsmouth University and at Westminster University in London. He spent some years travelling through England, Spain, Brazil and the Philippines, before returning to his birthplace Berlin in 2009, bringing home four documentaries, countless award-winning commercials and an excellent network of filmmakers and producers all around the world.

Persiel’s trademarks are his close bonds with his protagonists and his very own, off-key aesthetics. He always searches for unusual, less restrictive narrative formats to tell his stories.

Marten directs commercials, music videos and documentaries. His Film This Ain’t California has won a host of international awards and was released in cinemas worldwide.

Tim Löhr

Tim Löhr

PORTFOLIO

Tim was born in 1975 in the Western part of Berlin. Passing the Wall day after day, year after year, he was drawn to the Eastern part as soon as the Wall came down to discover a completely new world that was in the process of being reborn. He has always cherished the urge for reinvention and the unconventional vibe that are so unique for Berlin and he still lives here with his girlfriend and his two sons. During his studies at the University of Arts in Berlin (Udk) he developed concepts for advertising agencies and freelanced as a graphic designer and illustrator. He always loved creating things, but his main interest lies in the collaborative process of creating something in unison with likeminded people. Tim’s passion for creative teamwork as well as visual creation made him aspire to become a director. In the course of one of his university classes he was able to participate in the Hennessy Awards, an annual German advertising festival, and won three years in a row (1998, 1999, 2000) for directing and script, which only solidified his desire to be a director.Tim’s good sense of people, his enthusiasm, and his ability to create a comfortable and easygoing atmosphere and infectious energy on set provide his films with the typical warmheart ed and natural feel he is known for. His unpretentious style of directing makes actors as well as clients and agencies enjoy working with him. Tim’s focus lies in emotional storytelling with a smart sense of humor.
