The & Partnership And TalkTalk Announce Partnership With Bauer

This September, in a 4-month deal brokered and managed by m/SIX as part of the The&Partnership, TalkTalk will be partnering with Bauer Media to create a truly cross platform campaign which speaks to time poor, TV hungry audiences.

Designed to alleviate ‘Netflix syndrome’, a chronic cultural condition where one is unable to make a definitive decision when presented with an abundance of options, this partnership brings together TalkTalk TV & Bauer’s stable of entertainment brands to deliver TV recommendations you can trust.

A mix of editorial, native and tactical formats will run across key TV titles TV Choice, TV Guide and the newly launched Pilot, provide snappy useful recommendations for readers searching for programme inspiration.

A new branded content strand will be created in conjunction with heat and brought to life across all channels including print, digital and radio. heat’s ‘Big Night In with TalkTalk’ is a weekly video series TX’ing on YouTube and social media every Monday which will digest TV highlights from the weekend. Produced in house by heat and featuring special guests, quizzes and games, the show delves into the nation’s favourites shows and those worth a watch.

Through multichannel content spread across Bauer’s influential brands, this campaign positions TalkTalk TV at the heart of great entertainment, getting people excited about the range of TV TalkTalk has to offer.

Simon Kilby, Group Commercial Director, Bauer Media said: “This campaign demonstrates how Bauer creatively engages consumers through culturally relevant brands across various platforms. Working closely with commercial partners, the expertise of our editorial teams that have deep audience understanding shines through in the creation of integrated campaigns like heat’s ‘Big Night In with TalkTalk’.”

With more content than ever before, TalkTalk TV provides a wealth of choice and flexibility making it a compelling choice for families across the UK.”

Laura Varnam, Partnerships Director, m/SIX said:  This partnership is hugely exciting, by partnering with such trusted and iconic brands we have the perfect platform to bring to life the TalkTalk TV offering. Working closely with the Bauer teams we have been able to create a truly integrated campaign, putting TalkTalk TV’s recommendations at the heart of the content in an engaging and unique way.
