Pierre-Hubert Meilhac (44) joins Ogilvy in Paris alongside: Natalie Rastoin (President), Benoit de Fleurian (Chief Strategy Officer / President Ogilvy Change), Emmanuel Ferry (Managing Director / Head of Branding & Advertising), Serge Biscard (Managing Director / Head of Engagement & Performance Marketing), Guillaume de la Fléchère (Managing Director of Neo and Head of Media & Distribution), Gilles Bordure (Chief Operations Officer) and Anne Leperre (Talent & HR Director).

Previously Managing Director France of Golin (Interpublic), he becomes Managing Director - Head of PR and Influence, following Eric Maillard who will evolve in the network after a sabbatical.

His arrival will allow the current PR and Influence team to continue to grow in size and reputation, and to better integrate this valuable expertise in Ogilvy, at a time when brands need to contribute more strongly to society.

Says Natalie Rastoin, President of Ogilvy in Paris: "I am pleased to welcome Pierre-Hubert, whose background and experience is focused on integration, creativity and growth; in perfect harmony with Ogilvy's evolution.”

"I am delighted to join Ogilvy, recognized for its creativity, agility and successful transformation with its Next Chapter strategy," explains Pierre-Hubert Meilhac.  For me, it’s a new personal chapter that I’m beginning with enthusiasm and the desire to integrate Influence at the heart of the creative campaigns of the agency to support the growth of our customers. The goal shared by Natalie Rastoin and the board is simple: build on these foundations to make Ogilvy a reference in the French market and an essential hub in Europe.”

HIS JOURNEY

Holder of a master's degree in Information and Communication at University of Lille’s Infocom and a degree in English at the University of Lille, Pierre-Hubert began his career at News Pepper. He then headed the Public System (Hopscotch group) where he directed the public relations expertise and participated in the merger of the media relations and marketing teams, to give birth to a real PR offer. This new dynamic has allowed the agency to win integrated customers.

Subsequently, Pierre-Hubert joined Golin (Interpublic - integrated with MullenLowe in Paris) as Managing director. He built a modern influence offering by adding to the existing corporate and crisis expertise a general public practice and placing social media at the heart of the strategies. In this context, he has also been responsible for integrating the MullenLowe teams to offer clients all the opportunities for an integrated approach. In less than 5 years, Golin Paris has doubled in size and has become a key office in Europe for the network, helping to win customers while developing a portfolio of pure player brands in Influence.

Pierre-Hubert is from the north of France (Arras) and lives in Paris with his Yoga teacher wife and two teenage children.
