Led by Berlin Cameron, Women-Run Businesses Host #Thankful4Women Events Showing Gratitude in Action

In partnership with Thankful, Refinery29, Rebecca Minkoff's Female Founder Collective and Icelandic Provisions, Berlin Cameron hosted #Thankful4Women events to celebrate and inspire powerful women across the nation. The events, which included a brunch in NYC and a pop-up shop in LA, took place in conjunction with Valentine's Day, a holiday built to show love.

The New York brunch kicked-off with Jennifer DaSilva, President of Berlin Cameron and Kim McDonnell, Founder of Thankful introducing some extraordinary women leading the female empowerment charge.

"I'm so excited to be using Valentine's Day, a holiday that represents love and appreciation, to show gratitude for the most inspiring women I know," said DaSilva. "By bringing together these powerful females, we hope to encourage women to support and build each other up."

In a recent poll by Berlin Cameron and Ellevate Networks, an overwhelming 79% of respondents believe that women are supporting women now more than ever and #Thankful4Women will proudly continue that trend.

"I'm thankful to see more women being recognized for their endless and valuable contributions," said McDonnell. "This Valentine's Day, I'm excited to partner with women who share the vision of a more female-empowered future by carving out a space committed to celebrating the love and gratitude for women - just like they do for so many others throughout the year."

Icelandic Provisions' Director of Communications, Molly Peterson added, "Icelandic Provisions is rooted in the values and heritage of Iceland, one of the world's leaders in supporting women leaders. We're proud to be involved in the Thankful4Women event and celebrate women-run organizations."
