AC Hotels by Marriott today announced the appointment of Figliulo&Partners as global agency of record, following a competitive review process.
Effective immediately, F&P will handle all positioning and branding responsibilities for the “upper-moderate-tier, design-led lifestyle brand,” one of 19 within Marriott International’s global portfolio. The business will be handled out of F&P’s New York office. In 2015, F&P picked up creative duties for Virgin Atlantic and was appointed AOR for Seabourn, Carnival Cruise Line’s ultra-luxury, small ship cruise line.
AC Hotels by Marriott boasts more than 80 hotels across the globe, and Marriott has made it a top priority to continue to grow the brand, particularly in the U.S. (current locations include Chicago, Kansas City, Miami, New Orleans and Washington, D.C.). Marriott plans to launch an additional 22 AC Hotels properties in 2016 alone, with Boston and Cincinnati the next U.S. locations coming soon.
