You don’t need us to tell you that plastic pollution is poisoning the oceans and suffocating the Earth. But maybe you do need us to remind you that you don’t need a plastic bottle for your shampoo. In fact, shampoo also comes in bar form – just like soap. But most people don’t realise that. In order to remind them, the agency BBDO Guerrero in the Philippines created a shampoo bar in the shape of a bottle. The “bottle” slowly dissolves each time you wash your hair, with no impact on the environment. Plus, the agency has made the design open source, so any health and beauty company around the world can copy it. If fish had hands, they’d be giving the initiative a thumbs up.
