Surprising installation and ridiculous media budget for energy saving.

Wastefulness is the biggest source of energy. This statement made Entega, a green energy supplier, convinced it had to prove to Hamburg inhabitants that with more efficient use of energy; Germany could save 40%. The campaign was developped in two operations. First, old electric appliances were destroyed and were then used in press and internet advertising while active participation in the campaign was encouraged online. The campaign reached a greater audience with the construction of a massive "igloo" built with over 300 running refrigerators.. The rejected heat transformed the inside of the construction into a “sauna”. Visitors could view the electricity meter of the "igloo" showing the exact consumption and waste used by the installation.Information leaflets were distributed to everyone and the whole operation was relayed online creating worldwide coverage -exposing the world to our wastefulness in regards energy whilst positioning Entega as a responsible energy supplier.
