There are a lot of cobblestone streets in Portugal. The mosaic pavement built with cubes represents sometimes different patternsand is a part of the history of the country. Portugal Tourism office has decided to create an interactive way to promote the destination in installing QR code pavements in the cobblestone streets of Lisbon. The QR codes linked to a digital content created specifically for tourists: description of the neighborhoods, history, events, and visits. These QR codes were not only set up in Portugal but also in Spain to promote the country abroad.
