HOW DO YOU DRINK YOUR COFFEE IN THE MORNING?
I’m all for a big glass of green tea from this fancy machine. I really love the smell of fresh coffee but I just can’t get used to the taste of it. What a waste, right? Because this machine is seriously asking for making delicious coffees all day long.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT OF THE DAY?
Waking up in the mountains of Austria. Jump out of bed. Discover fresh snow. Grab my snowboard and start running like crazy to get to the ski lift in time to be the first one making fresh tracks in the snow. Instant happiness!
WHAT EVENT LAST YEAR WAS THE MOST SPECIAL TO YOU?
In the winter of 2016 I started cold water swimming in the North Sea. It started with joining a swim with a couple of friends to support our friend who’s dealing with incurable cancer. Every sunday at 10.00 AM in Zandvoort. I didn’t expect that this escalated into a new hobby. The temperature of the water is now about 2 °C. The colder, the better. It’s really good for your health and it gives a tremendous energy boost. And it works for hangovers as well ;-).
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU WERE VERY NERVOUS?
Seriously nervous? Without a doubt when I had my exam for my drivers license in 2004. It was killing me. When I look back it wasn’t really necessary because I nailed it the first time.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST GRATEFUL OF?
The lunches at XXS. Such a feast every day!
