RAPP New York Welcomes Newest Member of Leadership Team; Appoints First-Ever Senior Vice President, Executive Producer, Heather Salkin

RAPP Worldwide, a global creative agency that builds direct, meaningful and high-value relationships between brands and people, today announced the appointment of Heather Salkin to its New York office, as Senior Vice President, Executive Producer, effective immediately. An award-winning and highly-innovative executive leader, with nearly two-decades of experience in production, emerging technology and digital marketing, Salkin will report directly to RAPP’s US Chief Creative Officer, Moa Netto.

“RAPP’s ability to deliver true value today to clients in disruptive categories, like healthcare and connected entertainment, lies in our deep understanding of technology. Focusing on how technology can enable great ideas and allow brands to reach consumers in new, meaningful ways, means we can deliver a whole new layer of relevancy to our creative work,” said Netto. “Heather’s appointment speaks directly to our vision for the New York office – a focus on ‘making.’”

An innovator, maker and creative problem solver, Salkin in her new role will use her extensive production and digital marketing knowledge to concept and produce complex development efforts for RAPP New York’s fully-integrated, multi-channel marketing programs. She will work closely with the New York office’s newly-organized team to ensure a ‘maker culture’ is woven into the fabric of all creative initiatives moving forward.

“With a passion for building experiences and products at the intersection of art, storytelling and technology, Heather will be instrumental in bringing RAPP’s creative product to life moving forward,” said Justin Thomas-Copeland, RAPP NY’s President.

Salkin joins RAPP from Momentum Worldwide where she served at SVP, Innovation for North America. During her five-year tenure she was instrumental in designing, building and deploying award-winning custom activation technologies for Fortune 500 companies and brands including Verizon, American Express, Amazon, Coca-Cola, Bentley, Ferrari, Samsung, Microsoft and Olay. Throughout her career, Salkin has led Innovation, Integrated Production, Technology, Digital, and Content teams within many arms of IPG’s network, with stints at MRM, FCBi, and Zentropy Partners, as well as BBDO, Ogilvy, Grey, and Digitas. Her passion for changing digital and physical landscapes, technical innovation, and creative solutions that spur meaningful change is reflected in the work she’s executed for clients and has been recognized by the industry at large; Salkin is the recipient of several Clios, Event Marketer Ex Awards, Promo Awards, American Business Awards and an Adweek Project Isaac Gold Award.

“This is one of the most exciting times for our industry with so many ways to think about how we can exceed our clients’ goals,” said Salkin. “I’m looking forward to pushing these invisible boundaries at RAPP – leading with innovation and new technologies to elevate the agency’s output and create more award-winning products and programs for the organization and its clients.”
