JetBlue and the Jamaica Tourist Board give commuters a hot ticket

A lot of New Yorkers go to Jamaica almost every day. It’s a train station in Queens where they change during their daily commute. Cold and grey rather than sunny and tropical. Until JetBlue and the Jamaica Tourist Board stepped in. They found 15 commuters at Jamaica Station who were willing to opt out of their daily routine by swapping their train tickets for plane tickets. Or to be more precise, a JetBlue vacation package, including flight and hotel, in Montego Bay. The event was widely shared on social networks, generating a suitably warm response.
